Emotional Investment

Talking of relations, if any bonding between two individuals exists, is because of some effort that has gone in from both parties in initiating, building and maintaining the relation.

I think, when two people are in love, there is huge exchange of emotional investment involved. Its the gentle gesture from either of two to seek bonds of security, commitment and growth.

Every interaction that takes place, acts as recurring deposit and quick returns are sought in terms of EI only. Oblivious to this, people fall in love hopelessly and go through ordeal when results do not turnout the way originally intended. And we have several examples of failures turning bad to even ugly sometimes. So when love fails its the EI that takes beating and could hurt someone to the core. Having said that, when you are in love, you cant stop from happening though. But its wise to be aware so that hurt is minimal...
