Curd

As kid, its norm to be drinking milk, horlicks, boost or any nutritious drink. I always hated milk, the preferred drink for kids in all homes. So did my parents think and tried several times and ways. All in vein, I never liked the smell... I just could not, no matter how I wanted to... used Badam flavour, boost or horlicks or even Maltova.

On the contrary, curd goes in and enjoyed at all times. Its a must have on the dine for me :-) for some reason its true and amazes me. Assorted curds like Shreekhand is my favourite. Shreekhand-puri used to be favoured dish on weekends and even I used to help mom preparing shreekhand.

Eating habits are largely influenced by parents I guess, my dad never drank milk it seems :-) so you see, all the 'BAD KID' isnt my fault, but hereditary.

Chocolates

Off-late I've discovered childly cravings for chocolates. Not sure if it was the advent of overseas travels as I try to get lots of chocs home. There is a toddler back home you see... so that gives me a good reason to buy :-) This wasnt so just few years back :( used to decline politely or keep chocs in drawyer whenever offered. Recenly find myself tempted to munch and save enough supplies in the fridge. Favourites are nutty chocos, currently Bellrom hazelnuts are in stock.

So all you chocolate lovers I join the club.

I love pink

Gouri. My daughter, just 10 months old, is a bundle of joy for the family. Life has changed a lot ever since the 'NEW' family member has arrived. One of the changes is very pretty :-); Believe me I love pink! and certainly baby is the only reason. We(me and my lovely wife) couldnt help but notice we've been buying pink stuff. Pink clothing, sheets, shoes, even pink dolls, everything else you name it and its pink.

During recent visit to London, whilst window-shopping on Oxford street, all I could like was a pink T-shirt; not for the baby but ME :-D hehe. Lovely wife didnt like the idea :-( she felt and still thinks its girly stuff (so did all my friends) and didnt want me to sport it. Come on, can I not wear pink? its just a man made convention... I want my baby to acknowledge that we like the color. Baby too seems to have welcomed when we're dressed alike. The Pink family :-)

I could not care much, but to ignore comments lovely wife and friends made for I love pink :-).

Minchu

This is title song for tele-serial 'Minchu' (T. Seetharam fame) on ETv Kannada. I particularly like the words and original song is typical of C. Ashwath. I miss the old song really :-(
